The key milestones that have defined ACE — Adaptive City Ecosystems — since founding in Nairobi. A decade of building, innovating and delivering without compromise.

2020 — Founding

ACE — Adaptive City Ecosystems Established, Nairobi

Founded by four architects with a shared vision: eliminate the costly fragmentation between architecture, engineering and construction. ACE was built to deliver all three under one accountable team from day one.

2021 — First Commercial

First Grade-A Commercial Delivery — Parklands Office Block

ACE completed its first major commercial office block in Parklands — 12,000 sq ft of premium office space delivered on time and on budget. This project established our commercial reputation across Nairobi and attracted a new tier of developer clients.

2022 — Interior Division

25 Projects Milestone + Interior Fit-Out Division Launched

Reaching 25 completed projects, ACE formally launched its Interior Fit-Out Division — enabling true end-to-end delivery from architectural concept through to fully furnished, handed-over spaces. The division now handles corporate, hospitality and residential fit-outs.

2023 — First Major Award

Best Residential Project — Architecture Awards Kenya

ACE's first major industry award for Karen Ridge Villas — recognised for design excellence, sustainability integration and exceptional quality of finish. The award validated ACE's premium positioning and opened doors to larger institutional clients.

2024 — Diaspora Programme

Diaspora Real Estate Portfolio Programme Launched

ACE launched its dedicated Diaspora Real Estate Programme, targeting Kenyan investors seeking trusted, end-to-end managed construction investment back home. Monthly reporting, transparent financial management and remote client access — designed specifically for the diaspora investor's needs.

2025 — Industrial Masterplanning

Gold Plant Masterplan — Awdal Region, Somaliland

ACE undertook the masterplanning of a high-capacity 500 TPD gold processing facility in the Awdal region, Somaliland — coordinating systems integration of a 25 TPH Ball Mill and 2,000-ton CIL circuit, targeting commissioning-to-production within 45 days and a projected $100M+ annual revenue.
